What Is Included?
Five hours of one-to-one lessons, tutor matching and coordinator support. Your tutor’s travel costs for regular in-person lessons are included.
All prices are in Japanese yen, tax included. Lessons are sold as monthly plans; hourly equivalents are shown for comparison.
Start During the Month
You can start once your lesson arrangements are agreed. Your plan renews automatically on your individual cycle, rather than by calendar month.
Stop Before Your Next Payment
Contact us or cancel your recurring payment yourself before your next automatic payment date to prevent the next charge.
Café Costs and Textbooks
You and your tutor each pay for your own café food and drinks. School-supplied materials are digital. Printed textbooks you buy are at your own expense.

Is the Trial Really Free?
Yes. The 60-minute trial has no lesson fee. You do not need a credit card to request it, and paid lessons do not start automatically afterward.
For an in-person trial, you and your tutor each cover your own travel and café expenses. You do not pay your tutor’s travel costs.
Can I Join as a Complete Beginner?
Yes. Tell us that you are starting from the beginning. We can help you consider conversation-focused Partner lessons or structured Pro lessons according to your goals. You do not need a complete study plan before contacting us.
Can My Tutor Explain Things in English?
Tell us if you need explanations in English or another language. We consider language support when matching tutors, subject to availability.
Can I Find a Tutor Near Me and at My Preferred Time?
Share your nearest station, travel range and several possible lesson times. We will check for a suitable available tutor. We cannot guarantee every requested location and schedule.
Partner lessons take place at an agreed location convenient for the tutor. For Pro lessons, you can request your home or office. Online lessons are also available; please tell us your time zone.
Which Should I Choose: Partner or Pro?
Partner classes offer conversation practice and everyday Japanese with volunteer tutors. Teaching experience varies. Pro classes offer structured learning with qualified professional Japanese teachers and are suitable for JLPT preparation and Japanese for work.

What If the Tutor Is Not a Good Fit?
Tell us what you would like to change. We can discuss the lesson approach or look for another suitable tutor. If your trial tutor is not a good match, you can have another free trial with a different tutor, subject to availability.
Do I Need to Buy a Textbook First?
No. Tell us what you already use, if anything. We can discuss suitable materials before you buy a textbook. School-supplied materials are digital files. Printed textbooks you purchase are at your own expense.
Are There Extra Costs for Regular Lessons?
Your tutor’s travel costs are included in the regular lesson fee. At a café, you and your tutor each pay for your own food and drinks. Printed textbooks, if you buy them, are at your own expense.
Can I Start During the Month and Stop My Plan Later?
Yes. Once your lesson arrangements are agreed, you can start during the month. Monthly plans follow your individual lesson cycle and renew automatically.
To stop the next payment, contact us or cancel your recurring payment yourself before your next automatic payment date. This deadline follows your payment cycle, not the calendar month. Stopping a monthly plan is separate from cancelling an individual lesson.
What Happens When I Click “Request My Free Trial”?
You will open our email registration page. After registering your email, you will receive a link to the detailed form for your goals, level and preferences. We then discuss your needs and arrange matching.
Registering your email does not book a fixed lesson time or start a paid subscription.
